Paddington is the ideal spot to keep your kids entertained during the half-term holiday. Whether exploring our free art trails or visiting nearby attractions, there’s something for everyone.

Here are our top recommendations:

The Paddington Bear Shop, Cafe and Pawprint Trail
Starting at Paddington Station where a bronze bear stands on the concourse, the walking trail takes you past a sequence of other sculptures and key locations from the book's series and subsequent films. Key locations include Norfolk Square Gardens and the Floating Pocket Park in Paddington Basin. You can pick up a map of the route at the Paddington Store in Paddington station.

Little Things Art Trail
Gillie and Marcs Little Things Miniature Sculpture Art Trail is a fantastic way to discover the Paddington Neighbourhood. The trail features twenty miniature sculptures, each placed in local businesses including Jamuna, Altonapoli and the Prince of Wales. Click here for the full art trail.

GoBoat and Canal Walks
For those seeking outdoor fun, GoBoat is an excellent choice! Hop aboard a self-drive electric boat and navigate the picturesque canals of Paddington. Enjoy a leisurely cruise, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. Alternatively, take a refreshing stroll down the canal, allowing the kids to burn off some energy while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Use the code PADNOW10 to enjoy a 10% discount at GoBoat Paddington.

Alexander Fleming Museum
Why not embark on a journey through the corridors of medical history as you explore the hidden gem that preserves the legacy of Sir Alexander Fleming, the brilliant mind behind the discovery of penicillin. The Museum is open without appointment Mondays to Thursdays 10am to 1pm and at other times on weekdays by advance appointment.

Kids eat free at Meet Bros
From the 15th to the 23rd of February, treat yourself and your little ones to Meet Bros Asian-fusion steakhouse in Paddington, where kids eat free in London during half-term. When you order both a small plate and a main dish, receive a free meal box for your child. Take a peek at our their fully halal menu for kids, and reserve your table this half-term! Book Now.

Hyde Park
Hyde Park is just a 5-minute walk from Paddington, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some time outdoors. A few of our favorite spots include the Italian Fountains, The Serpentine, and the Diana Memorial Fountain. For more activities to explore, click here.
